Rishikesh.app serves as an intermediary between users and suppliers (professional businesses). When you reserve an experience through Rishikesh.app, you are booking directly with the supplier/business. To avoid last-minute cancellations that can cause significant losses for our network of suppliers/businesses, each business sets its own cancellation policy for the activities it offers. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, the refund will depend on the cancellation policy in place. We have created a cancellation policy that takes into account the booking time for the event, activity or experience.
Please note that the cancellation policy may be subject to change without prior notice.
If cancellation done by user
- User will be eligible for 100% refund If cancelled before 24 hours of scheduled date after the discount plus applicable GST on that amount, excluding booking charges and payment gateway transaction fees The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days.
- No Refund- If cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled date.
If cancellation done by business entity (supplier)
- If a supplier cancel a reservation, they will work with rishikesh.app to offer viable alternatives to affected users. We will assist you by revising the original schedule and suggesting alternative suppliers or activities. However, neither rishikesh.app nor the suppliers are obligated to do so. The user may choose to accept an alternative proposal or request to cancel the booking, in which case they will be entitled to a full refund according to the cancellation policy.
- Suppliers may cancel a booked event or experience only if circumstances beyond their control, such as bad weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable and unavoidable events, make it impossible or dangerous to carry out the activity. In such cases, the user will receive a full refund, including booking fees and payment gateway transaction charges. The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days.
- The supplier may cancel a booked event or experience if they discover on the day or time of the event that user provided false or incorrect information when making the booking, or if user do not meet the eligibility criteria specified in the listing. In such cases, the refundable amount will be determined through mutual consultation with all parties involved, although rishikesh.app reserves the right to make the final decision on the refund amount.
Cancellation done by rishikesh.app
- If the supplier fails to approve or accept a booking within the required time frame, as specified by the mandatory approval duration, the user will receive a full refund, including booking fees and payment gateway transaction charges.
- Rishikesh.app may cancel a booked event or experience if the supplier determines that you are not suitable or eligible to participate due to the high level of risk involved and informs rishikesh.app to cancel the booking on their behalf. In such cases, the refundable amount will be determined through mutual consultation with all parties involved, although rishikesh.app reserves the right to make the final decision on the refund amount.
- If a user requests to cancel an event or experience in progress due to the supplier’s failure to fulfill the promises or services listed in the experience description, the refundable amount will be determined through mutual consultation with all parties involved. However, rishikesh.app reserves the right to make the final decision on the refund amount, which will exclude booking fees and payment gateway transaction charges.
